From the Pews

I forgot what a magnet for attention babies are.
Infants and two year olds sure do catch peoples attention.

Try to convince your two year old not to make faces with the people sitting behind you in the pews and to just turn around and sit. Only trouble is when you turn to enforce your suggestions you find out that the other pew sitters are making googley faces at your two year old????
So much for we don't do that during Church :)

Then you want your infant to sleep through church so that you can concentrate on the sermon and not distract the other pew sitters. Then the preteen behind you keeps reaching over the pew and touching the baby!!!! It wouldn't be very nice to smack that hand would it :) Oh, well I guess it is all part of raising kids with an audience......
